and charity events to help support a diverse mix of causes.

together, please contact

helping others
Each year thousands of people are afflicted with life
altering medical conditions. The Finish Line Charms family
has pledged to help those individuals face their ultimate
challenges each and every day.
As our way of acknowledging your athletic accomplishments, we are proud
to contribute a combined total of 2% of our net profits (maximum $10,000
annually) to The American Cancer Society and DebRA, a non-profit
organization helping those afflicted with Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB), a
rare skin disorder.
By contributing to such causes, our hope is that one day we will all be
able to stand together and cheer these brave individuals on as they
compete in and complete their first half-marathon, marathon, triathlon,
5k, or cycling event.
Thank you.
American Cancer Society
The American Cancer Society is a not-for-profit, nationwide
community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating
cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and
diminishing suffering from cancer through research, education, advocacy,
and service. It is estimated that there will be over 1.9 million new
cancer cases and deaths in 2005 (source: American Cancer Society).
DebRA
DebRA, a non-profit organization, is dedicated to discovering a cure
for epidermolysis bullosa (EB). EB, which affects 2 out of 100,000 U.S.
births, is a rare, non-contagious, genetic disease characterized by
chronic, painful blistering, resulting from even the slightest touch. EB
does not discriminate as to race, ethnic orientation or sex and
currently there is no cure or treatment except daily wound care and
bandaging. Those individuals with EB are currently not fortunate enough
to experience the joys of running.
